This is the month of many new beginings for me. Firstly blogging. It may take a while for me to adjust but I am assured by a dear friend that it is rewarding. Perhaps she is unaware of how technically challenged I am! (still need to add a photo to my profile) This week saw me playing and winning bunko with a new group of Bunko babes. They will never replace my Texas Bunko buddies but is was fun even if it did take us 2 months to agree on a date. Also my first foray into the world of fundraising. I am now an official committee member for Father Joe's orphanage in Lurin. So I will visit the kids next week and then start work on a fundraiser that will provide the money to buy the orphanage the many items it needs to support 64 kids.
I hope this will be the beginning of new friendships and the renewal of some past ones as it has been hard to keep up with everyone.
To new beginnings....

I think that it is a GREAT idea to rededicate oneself to friendship -- both the making of it and the keeping of it.
As you probably know, "keeping up with my emails" is always on my New Year's resolution list. And it is never really something that I get on top of; but at least I keep on striving for perfection!!
How much of Bunko is luck, and how much skill? You seem to win more than your fair share!!
Well done, you, on getting involved in the orphanage. I am looking around for volunteer opportunities, too, as I have been really aware lately of how lucky I am. We look forward to Father Joe anecdotes!
Bee there is absloutly no skill involved in Bunko which is why I do so well at it. Slight of hand and good hand eye coordination to swipe the dice is all it takes to win.
Keeping up with e-mails is a never ending task fight the good fight with all thy might.
